The Duvet Cover

Well, I finally finished the first big project with my new sewing machine. I made a duvet cover in shades of grey. This was no small undertaking and I learned plenty while working on it. Although it is obviously homemade, with several unique imperfections it was a satisfying project and now we have a duvet in the exact colors I wanted. I am sure this is just the first of many projects. I used this guide from Design Sponge and I learned how to make a button hole with this great guide from Sew Mama Sew. Happy sewing.
