So Proud!

This is my dear friend Megan. She is one of the strongest most inspiring women I know. I am 100% sure she will continue to be a phenomenal leader and advocate for women and for healthcare. She is the friend who always makes sure I stay involved and vocal about the issues that are most important to me. She pretty much kicks ass all around. I am honored to call her my friend. We share many of the same passions in life. She will also be an obstetrician gynecologist and a darn good one at that. She is recognized frequently for her all around awesomeness. She was the president of my favorite medical student organization - Med Students for Choice and was recently selected by More Magazine as one of ten young feminists. I could not be prouder. I am sure that Megan and I will always stay connected. I am looking forward to our careers growing together. Although sadly, we will probably not end up at the same residency program, I envision the fun we will have meeting up regularly at national ob/gyn or health policy events. I am sure that this will not be the last time that Megan is featured in a national publication. Snaps to her! She is one powerful, inspiring and hot young feminist!
